Specialty Fertilizer

Fertilizers are additional substances supplied to the crops to increase their productivity. These are used by the farmers day to day to increase the crop yield. These fertilizers contain essential nutrients required by the plants, including Nitrogen, Phosphorus and Potassium. They also enhance the water retention capacity of the soil and increase its fertility. Specialty fertilizers are a fast growing and diverse group of products with different characteristics containing one or more of the essential primary, secondary or micro-nutrients. Plants require 18 essential nutrients to grow and survive, classified by their importance into macronutrients (C, H, O, N, P, K, Ca, Mg, S) and micronutrients (B, Cu, Fe, Mn, Zn, Mo, Cl, Co, Ni).

Bio stimulants means compounds, substances and products including microorganisms whose functions when applied to plants/seeds/ rhizosphere is to regulate and enhance a crops physiological processes independent of the products nutrient contents to improve input use efficiency, growth, yield, quality and/or stress tolerance. The bio stimulants may include products of plants /animals or microbial origin.
